Supporting rural young people
Working with HOPS means you are helping us to support the development of rural young people in the UK through our relationship with The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC).
HOPS is owned by NFYFC – one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. All of HOPS’ profits are invested back into the organisation to help them deliver a programme of work focused on developing skills and offering unique opportunities to thousands of young people in rural locations.
More than 500 Young Farmers’ Clubs across England and Wales give young people living in remote locations a social life outside of a busy working farm or the seclusion of village life.
They provide friendships and support as well as the opportunity to learn new skills through training and competitions programmes.
NFYFC campaigns on issues such as mental health and farm safety and gives rural young people a voice.
HOPS is proud to be part of the national Federation and, by working with farms across the UK, together we are benefiting the next generation to achieve even more.

"Why I'm #HOPSHappy"
“YFC is one of the reasons why Staples is with HOPS. It’s helping the younger generation to do things they probably wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to do – especially in rural areas. I have been involved with YFC for around nine years now and over that time I have seen young kids develop from shy 10 year olds to taking on roles in a club a few years later and really coming out of themselves. It’s a great organisation that really develops confidence and skills.”
